The Journey to the Top
The adventure to Makra Peak begins in the charming tourist resort of Shogran. From here, a short jeep ride takes you through a lush forest trail to the picturesque Siri Paye meadows, which serves as the primary base camp for the trek. This stunning plateau, with its vibrant green pastures and a serene lake, offers a breathtaking vista of the surrounding peaks and is an ideal spot for camping under the stars.
The trek from Siri Paye to the summit of Makra Peak is a challenging yet exhilarating 4 to 8-hour hike, depending on fitness levels and weather conditions.
